the brief
The brief was to create a logo that was going to drive the brand identity. Darren came to me with an idea but was unsure of the direction he wanted to take the company. With such ambition, we wanted to capture this passion, but not limit it to a specific field.

Deciding which aspects of the brand we wanted to capture was difficult. I believed it was important to not only show the creative side to the Architectural Renders Darren was producing for clients, but also how meticulous and precise the detail was. To capture this, I settled with contrasting the creativeness of script typefaces with the clean, minimal structure of sans serif typefaces.

While the logo was being developed, I was working closely with Darren and the team to establish a company structure to effectively brand the different branches of design they were going to focus on. I felt like these colours specifically aligned well with each of these areas, and incorporating them into the website/ brochures/ communications would make it more clear about the origins of each project. ArchViz and DataViz became the key branches of the company, so more work was focussed on those elements.
business cards
Business cards are an essential part of any company’s image. It was important for us to create a positive image from the outset, this is why we went with a very tidy, minimal card. This was designed to show our “no-fuss” attitude towards design, just precise and direct.
The grey tones were added to become the accent for future designs and branding, but also frame the logo on the card. This allowed us to have a raised logo, this textural detail is a subtle detail.
icon design
Due to the future digital presence of the company, it was essential to have a simplified, more versatile icon for smaller size applications. While designing the website, we were able to apply this to the tabs to give an elegant, clean appearance. Still capturing the essence of the initial design with the contrasting organic curvature and rigidity of the secondary typeface.
The colour, style and overall aesthetic evokes a wholistic feeling of precision. The brand aligns strongly with the vibrancy of the striking orange and the contrast between the script and sans serif typefaces. This concept will feature strongly on official documents and will become a recognisable mark of the company. A clean, simple design thats potential applications are almost limitless.
